Editorial and corrections policy
Published 10 September 2026.
Harmony publishes product information and articles about CBD, plants and related research. This policy sets the standards for that content and explains how to raise a concern or request a correction.
Harmony sells products discussed on this website. Our educational content is company-published material. It should help readers understand the subject without presenting research as a promise about a product.
Choosing topics and sources
Content should answer a useful question about a product, ingredient, practical use or piece of research. Topic selection should consider relevance to readers and the evidence available, alongside search demand.
Product facts should come from current product records, labels and applicable test reports. Research explanations should link to the original paper where available. Reviews of several studies and current official guidance can help put individual findings in context.
Important findings should be accompanied by their limitations, including what was studied, who took part and whether there was a comparison group. A participant's reported experience should remain clearly identified as a reported experience.
Authors and review
Authors and reviewers should be credited for work they actually completed, with their relevant role and qualifications described accurately. Scientific authorship does not by itself mean that a medical professional has reviewed an article.
The expertise needed depends on the subject. Checking a product's composition is different from assessing a clinical study. A named review should identify the person and their contribution; readers should not assume that an article has had an independent clinical review if none is identified.
This policy does not certify that every existing page has completed a new review. A publication date or a link to this policy is not a medical-review badge.
Commercial relationships
Employment, paid contributions and research funding should be disclosed where they help readers assess the content. Harmony's consumer study was commissioned by Harmony and conducted by Ayton Global Research Ltd. An outside organisation conducting a study does not make its funding independent of Harmony.
Editorial conclusions should reflect the evidence, including uncertainty and unfavourable findings. A study of a different formulation or delivery route should not be presented as proof that a Harmony product will produce the same result.
AI assistance
AI tools may assist with drafting, editing, translation or consistency checks. The person preparing and approving content remains responsible for checking facts, opening sources and preserving their meaning. An AI output is not a scientific source or an expert review.
AI assistance must not create fictional experts, reviews, studies or customer experiences. When the way content was produced materially affects how readers should understand it, that context should be explained on the page.
Updates and corrections
Publication dates should reflect when content was first published. An update or review date should reflect work that actually occurred. Changing a date alone does not make information current.
When a factual error is confirmed, the correction should address the affected wording and other known uses of the same fact. Substantive corrections should explain what changed and when; small spelling or formatting fixes do not need a correction notice.
To flag an error, email contact@meetharmony.com or use our contact page. Please include the page URL, the wording you are concerned about and a source or explanation, if available. Harmony is responsible for investigating the concern and correcting confirmed errors.
Using health information
Website content provides general information. It cannot assess your individual circumstances or replace advice from a qualified healthcare professional. Product marketing must follow the rules applicable to the product and market; a disclaimer does not resolve an unsupported claim.
