This policy explains how Harmony uses personal information when you browse our online store, create an account, place an order, leave a review or contact us.
Who is responsible for your information
Meet Harmony Limited, trading as Harmony, is the controller of the personal information described here. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 10069842. Our registered office is 9th Floor, 107 Cheapside, London, EC2V 6DN, United Kingdom.
For privacy questions or requests, email contact@meetharmony.com or write to our registered office. This is not a returns address; contact us before sending a product back.
Information we collect and why
- Accounts and orders. Your name, email address, phone number where supplied, delivery and billing addresses, cart contents, purchases, payment references and order status help us manage your account, take payment, deliver orders and handle returns.
- Payments and deliveries. Viva.com returns payment references and payment status. Monta and delivery carriers provide fulfillment and tracking information. We use this to confirm payment, send your order and help with delivery problems. Card details entered on Viva.com's hosted payment page are processed by Viva.com; our store does not collect or store your full card number or security code.
- Support. We use the messages and supporting information you send us to answer questions, investigate problems and handle your requests. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry.
- Reviews. We collect the display name, rating, review text and email address you submit, together with technical information used to prevent abuse. Approved reviews may display your chosen name, rating and review publicly. Your review email address is not published. Avoid including private or sensitive details in a public review.
- Website use. Our servers and service providers receive technical information such as IP address, browser details, requested pages and request times to deliver the website, diagnose faults and protect it against abuse. Optional analytics, where enabled, is explained below.
The product quiz uses your selections in your browser to suggest a routine. A result link contains information about those selections. Anyone you share the link with can open the result, and opening it sends the URL to the website. You do not need an account to use the quiz.
You can browse without creating an account. We need the contact, address and payment information requested at checkout to process and deliver an order.
Our reasons for using personal information
We use information to enter into and perform our contract with you, including taking payment, arranging delivery and handling order enquiries. We also use it to meet legal obligations, such as keeping required accounting records and responding to valid legal requests.
We rely on our legitimate interests to secure the store, prevent fraud and spam, resolve complaints and manage customer reviews. These interests are running a reliable business and protecting our customers. We consider your rights when using information for these purposes.
Where we ask for consent, such as for optional analytics cookies, you can withdraw it. Placing an order or creating an account does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Order, payment and shipping messages are service communications.
Cookies and browser storage
We use essential cookies and browser storage for sign-in, your cart, currency preferences and your chosen language. The sign-in cookie lasts up to one day. Currency and language preferences can be stored for up to one year. Cart information stays in your browser until you remove it or clear the site's storage.
Where Google Analytics is enabled, it loads only after you choose Accept optional. You can choose Reject optional and still use the store. Use Cookie settings to change your choice. We remember the cookie choice for up to one year in a cookie and also save it in browser storage.
Your browser can remove or block cookies and local storage. Blocking essential storage may stop sign-in, saved cart or preference features from working. Viva.com's payment page has its own privacy and cookie information.
Who receives information
We share information needed to provide the store and fulfil your requests:
- Viva.com: hosted payment processing, payment references, transaction details and the customer information required for payment. Viva.com also processes information for its own payment, fraud-prevention and legal responsibilities.
- Monta and delivery carriers: recipient name, delivery address, relevant contact details, order items, customs information where needed and tracking information.
- Resend: email addresses and message content needed to send essential order and shipping emails, together with delivery status.
- Sanity: website content and media delivery. Requests for content or images can include technical information such as an IP address. Customer checkout and account records are held in our store database rather than in Sanity.
- Hosting, database, backup and technical support providers: the store records and technical information needed to host, maintain, secure and recover the service.
- Customer support and professional advisers: information needed to answer your enquiry, manage a dispute, keep accounts or obtain professional advice.
- Google Analytics, when enabled and accepted: information about use of the site, browser or device and analytics identifiers.
We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Some providers act on our instructions; others, including payment providers, have their own responsibilities for particular uses of information.
International processing
Our providers may process information in countries outside the UK or EEA, including the United States. Their processing and transfer arrangements depend on the service. For example, Resend's data processing terms and Sanity's data processing terms describe their contractual safeguards for international transfers.
Transfers must use a mechanism permitted by applicable data-protection law, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards. Contact us for details of the countries, recipients and safeguards relevant to your information, or to request a copy of the applicable safeguards.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on the record and why it is needed. We consider whether your account or enquiry is active, the time needed to fulfil an order and deal with returns, accounting and tax requirements, and any fraud investigation, dispute or legal claim. Technical logs and backup copies are also subject to security and recovery needs.
Closing an account does not necessarily remove records we must retain for another purpose. If you request deletion, we will explain which information can be removed and which must be kept, why, and how long it is needed. Backup copies may remain until they are replaced or removed through the backup process. Contact us to ask about the retention period for a particular record.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you can ask to access your information, correct it, receive a portable copy, have it erased or restrict its use. You can withdraw consent without affecting the lawfulness of earlier use.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, including profiling based on those interests. You can object to direct marketing at any time.
Email contact@meetharmony.com with your request. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity before releasing or changing personal data. We normally respond within one month; if a lawful extension or further information is needed, we will explain this.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. If you are in the EEA, you can also contact the data-protection authority where you live or work, or where you believe an infringement occurred.
Children and changes to this policy
Our store is intended for adults aged 18 and over. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can investigate.
We will update this page when our practices change and show the revision date above. Where a change requires fresh consent or a separate notice, we will provide it.
