How Much CBD Oil Should You Use?

How much CBD oil you should use depends on the desired effect and your individual tolerance to cannabinoids. We can only make suggestions that have proven to be a good starting point for most users.

If you want to relax try 10-20mg of CBD (1-2 pumps of 1500 mg Spray or 0.1-0.2 ml of 3000 mg dropper) at any time of the day.
If you struggle with your sleep try 20-40mg of CBD (2-4 pumps of 1500 mg Spray or 0.25-0.5 ml of 3000 mg dropper) 30 minutes before going to bed.
To jumpstart your recovery try 10-20mg of CBD (1-2 pumps of 1500 mg Spray or 0.1-0.2 ml of 3000 mg dropper) after exercising.

Remember that everyone reacts differently and it might take a while for effects to show. Be patient and adjust the dose gradually. Make sure not to exceed 70mg of CBD in one day [1].

How to Use CBD Oil

Using CBD oil is super easy! First of all, give the bottle a good shake to make sure the flavour is distributed evenly. If you are using a spray, remove the protective cap, direct the nozzle towards your mouth and push the pump. Wait for a minute before swallowing or taking a sip of water. If you are using a dropper, use the in-built pipette to measure your desired dose. Be careful not to touch the nozzle or pipette with your hands or mouth to keep it clean. Always make sure to close the bottle after use and store it away from heat, moisture or direct sunlight and out of reach of children and pets.

Full-Spectrum CBD Oil, Broad-Spectrum CBD Oil and Isolate CBD Oil

It's important to know that CBD oils can be made with three different types of extracts: full spectrum, broad spectrum and isolate.

CBD isolate, as the name suggests, is 99+% purity CBD. The pure compound does not contain any other cannabinoids or hemp plant components, which does not allow for an "entourage effect". CBD isolate is best for vaping products with a wide compatibility across devices and for purists that want to experience the effects of CBD on its own - but not necessarily the best for CBD oils.

Full spectrum CBD extract contains all the cannabinoids naturally occurring in the hemp plant, often along with terpenes and flavonoids. This means that it also contains THC in small amounts (typically 0.05% to 0.2%). Don't panic, this level of THC won't be enough to be addictive or cause a "high", but if high quantities of such a CBD and THC containing product are used regularly over a long time, there is a chance of being tested positive in a roadside saliva test [10].

Broad spectrum CBD is among the best options for making CBD oils and other products such as tablets and CBD gummies. It contains CBD as well as other useful cannabinoids and terpenes, but all traces of THC are removed. Does CBD Oil Expire?

Our CBD oil formulation is generally pretty stable, but CBD oil may still degrade when it's exposed to too much heat and sunlight. We would therefore recommend that you store your bottle in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat, kids or pets. Make sure the cap is tightly closed after each use and don't let the dropper or nozzle touch your mouth when using the product. You don't need to refrigerate Harmony CBD oil, but it can help extend the shelf life.
